Sormuksen ja rasian teko-ohjeet - Miniature ring in a case

Tarvikkeet: mustaa tai haluamasi väristä askartelukartonkia, kapa-pahvia ja (punainen) tussi TAI haluamasi väristä softista, liimaa, pikaliimaa, ohutta metallilankaa tai -levyä ja sakset metallin leikkamiseen, pieniä strasseja, askarteluveitsi, cocktail-tikku, pinsetit

What you need: thin card (black or a colour of your choosing), foam core, (red) marker, glue, superglue, thin metal wire or thick foil and scissors to cut it with, tiny rhinestones, hobby knife, round toothipick, tweezers

Tarpeet drawing Leikkaa kartongista rasiaa varten 6 x 14 mm suorakaide. Tee nurjalle puolelle piirroksen mukaiset viillot (katkoviiva = pintaviilto, yhtenäinen viiva = leikkaus). Voit myös tehdä viillot oikealle puolelle, jolloin taittelu on helpompaa, mutta rasiasta tulee teräväreunaisempi. Mitat ovat millimetrejä.
Cut a 6 x 14 mm rectangle of card. Make grooves and cuts on the reverse side as indicated in the drawing (dashed line = groove, continuous line = cut). You can also make the grooves on the right side of the box. It will be easier to fold, but the folds will look sharp. Measurements are in millimetres.

Taitokset Liimaa ensin rasian päädyt. Käytä hyvin vähän liimaa. Voit pidellä läppiä paikoillaan muutaman sekunnin pinseteillä liiman kuivumista odotellessa. Anna kuivua kunnolla ennen seuraavaa työvaihetta.
First glue in the outer end flaps. Use very tiny amounts of glue. You can hold them in position with tweezers for a few seconds until the glue begins to hold. Let dry thoroughly before next step.

Rasia Taita "saranakohta" ja liimaa rasian sisäpäädyt.
Fold the "hinge" and glue the inner end flaps in place.

Sisus Leikkaa kapa-pahvista n. 3 mm suikale. Halkaise se varovasti TERÄVÄLLÄ veitsellä ja leikkaa halkaistusta suikaleesta oikean kokoinen tyyny. Tee siihen lovi sormusta varten. Värjää tyyny tussilla - taivuta pahvia varovasti että pääset värjäämään myös loven sisältä. HUOM. Voit myös käyttää (punaista) softista tyynynä!
Cut a strip of foam core, about 3 mm wide. Slice the foam carefully in half with a VERY sharp blade. Cut a small cushion to fit in case. Make a deep cut for the ring in the foam. Colour the cushion with the marker; bend the cardboard backing carefully so that you can also colour inside the cut.

Sormuksia Tee sormus haluamallasi tyylillä joko yksinkertaisesta tai kierretystä metallilangasta, tai leikkaa ohuesta metallilevystä (esim. pääsiäismunasta tulleesta sormuksesta tms.) hyvin kape suikale. Taivuta cocktail-tikun ympärille (kohdassa jossa halkaisija on n. 1,5 mm) ja liimaa kivi paikoilleen.
Make the ring using a technique of your preference: either from single or twisted thin metal wire, or by cutting a narrow strip of metal foil, or from some metal part (from e.g. cheap kids' jewellery). Bend the ring around a toothpick (at a point where it is about 1,5 mm thick) and glue the rhinestone in place with superglue.

Valmis! Liimaa tyyny rasian pohjalle ja laita sormus loveen. Valmista tuli!
Glue the cushion in place and place the ring in the cut. Presto!
